overview & purpose promostandards integration enables onprintshop to connect with multiple promo standard suppliers, allowing admins to fetch & manage promotional product catalogues directly within the platform this integration helps businesses expand their product offerings by leveraging supplier provided products, pricing, images, and specifications without the need for manual product creation through this integration, admins can publish supplier promo products on the onprintshop front store, control product visibility, apply pricing markups, manage categories, enable personalization, and process orders seamlessly the goal is to provide a scalable, automated, and efficient way to sell promotional products from multiple suppliers while maintaining full control over pricing, presentation, and customer experience promostandards integration setup 1\ register with promo standards admin must register with promo standards to access promotional product suppliers registration provides access to multiple suppliers such as hit, pcna, sanmar, s\&s activewear , and more admins can review the complete list of available suppliers at https //promostandards org/service providers/ 2\ review supplier api documentation each promo standard supplier provides api endpoints to share product data these apis allow syncing of product details, including categories, products, pricing, images, and attributes reference documentation is available for technical and integration review api documentation https //promostandards org/standards services/ api endpoints https //promostandards org/standards endpoints/ 3\ obtain supplier api credentials after selecting suppliers, the admin must request and receive api credentials from promo standards these credentials are required to establish a secure connection between onprintshop and supplier systems 4\ configure supplier in onprintshop once credentials are available, the onprintshop technical team configures the selected suppliers in the onprintshop admin panel selected suppliers by admin list will be displayed in the supplier listing screen via admin panel > products > promo products > supplier supplier credentials are entered into the supplier configuration screen admin will click on ‘edit’ action and add the credentials in the configuration screen after configuration, the system becomes ready to sync supplier product data into onprintshop managing promo standard products in ops 1\ promo products tab the promo products tab displays all products synced from integrated promo standard suppliers this section allows admins to manage product listings, control visibility, review pricing, configure options, and manage personalization settings product listing screen this screen shows a consolidated list of all promo products imported from suppliers key capabilities include view all products from integrated suppliers in a single listing search products by name or sku filter products by category or supplier view product image and basic product details manually sync product data to fetch the latest updates from suppliers enable or disable product visibility on the front store enable or disable “display on home page” access product level management tools through the action menu product action options each product includes an action menu that provides access to detailed configuration and management options view product details displays complete product information fetched from the supplier includes specifications, descriptions price tab displays pricing details for the selected product, where the list price is fetched by default from the supplier, and direct price editing is restricted options tab (attributes & variants) displays all product options and attributes linked to the product, allowing admins to select preferred attributes when multiple options exist and control how product variations are presented to customers on the front store gallery tab displays all product images and media received via the supplier api, allowing admins to enable or disable visuals, filter images by product part or size variant, and control which visuals appear on the storefront parts tab displays part id generated based on attribute combinations and used for production and order processing reference includes key part details such as part id (unique variant identifier) primary material (for reference) color variant apparel size other linked option combinations this section is view only for reference and tracking templates tab displays supplier or admin provided help templates that assist with personalization or artwork setup, with the option to show these templates on the front store based on admin preference configuration / personalization tab allows admins to configure personalization settings for products by defining print or decoration areas (e g , front, back, chest), assigning decoration options and pricing, applying rules based on product category, and controlling how customizations appear to customers on the storefront product preview on front store on the front store, promo products are displayed under the “promo products” tab, showcasing all available supplier products to customers 2\ category tab the category tab displays a complete listing of all parent and child categories for promo products this section allows admins to efficiently manage, organize, and configure categories for the front store admins can search and filter categories by category name or supplier category tab includes an action menu for management, including the ability to merge with the existing group and add to new group edit category details for both parent and child categories category title and url sets the display name of the category and the link used for navigation on the front store category image and icon isuals representing the category, used for storefront display and quick identification category header menu configuration determines how the category appears in the website’s main navigation or menu short and long descriptions provides brief and detailed text describing the category for customers and seo purposes page title and meta description – seo elements that define how the category page appears in search engines canonical references ensures search engines recognize the primary url for the category page to avoid duplicate content issues 3\ grouped categories tab the grouped categories tab allows admins to organize multiple child categories under a single parent category into a grouped category, enabling similar products to be displayed together on the front store admins can create a new grouped category by clicking the add button the list of all grouped categories is displayed on the screen for easy management and editing this feature helps streamline product organization and enhances the customer browsing experience by consolidating related products into a single category view 4\ product option tab the product option tab displays all product options and their associated attributes for promo products this section allows admins to manage how product options are presented on the front store and control their visibility and behavior attribute management admins can view all attributes linked to a product, change their status (enable/disable), and adjust the sort order presentation settings display in product filter determines whether the option appears in the storefront product filter for customer selection display in product description controls whether the option is shown on the product information page default expand allows the option filter to be expanded by default for easier visibility on the storefront 5\ promo order transfer tab the promo order transfer tab allows admins to manage and process all orders placed for promo products imported from integrated suppliers this screen provides a consolidated view of order details and facilitates order verification and status sync between promo standards and onprintshop order listing displays all promo product orders with essential details including order id product images product details supplier name quantity ordered total amount order status action buttons for verify order & sync verify orders the verify button allows admins to manually review, verify, and sync orders with the supplier order status sync the all order status sync button updates order statuses from promo standard to onprintshop in real time additionally, a cron job runs daily to automatically update order statuses, ensuring accurate tracking without manual intervention this tab ensures efficient order management, accurate status updates, and seamless communication between onprintshop and promo standard suppliers 6\ shipping package tab the shipping package tab allows admins to view and manage shipping package details for promo products imported from suppliers this section ensures accurate calculation of shipping costs based on product dimensions and weight package listing displays all shipping packages with essential details including product name – the name of the product associated with the shipping package package type – the type of packaging used for the product (e g , box, envelope) quantity – the number of units included in the shipping package dimension unit – the unit of measurement for package dimensions (e g , cm, inch) depth, height, width – the physical dimensions of the package used for shipping calculation product weight – the weight of the product or package, used for shipping cost calculation measurement unit – the unit of measurement for weight (e g , kg, lb) edit shipping details admins can edit shipping package information to ensure accurate shipping cost calculations and proper handling during fulfilment 7\ markup tab the markup tab allows admins to configure pricing adjustments for promo products, ensuring flexibility in pricing strategy for both categories and decoration charges tabs available category markup – configure markups for product categories decoration charge markup – configure markups for decoration or personalization charges markup master setup admins can create a markup master that applies fixed or dynamic markups fixed markup a set percentage applied across selected categories or products dynamic markup percentage applied based on defined product price ranges custom and markup master markup admins can select the markup from markup master list for specific categories or products admins can define custom markups for specific categories or products markup selection for product categories admins can assign markup for product categories by choosing either the default markup or a user specific markup default markup applies a standard markup from the markup master for all products within the selected categories user specific markup allows assigning a markup for individual users or customer groups when selected, admins can choose the specific user for whom the product category markup should apply this tab ensures admins have complete control over pricing strategies, allowing consistent application of markups across products while supporting flexibility for specific categories and decoration charges 8\ template tab the template tab displays all product help templates received from suppliers via the api these templates serve as references for product personalization, artwork setup, or other admin defined purposes lists all help templates provided by the supplier for each product templates are displayed based on the admin’s preference , allowing control over which templates are visible on the front store which can be done through technical team helps ensure accurate guidance for personalization or customization for both admins and customers 9\ corporate products tab the corporate products tab allows admins to assign promo products to specific b2b stores , ensuring that only selected products are visible in those stores assign products to b2b stores admins can select promo products and make them available for a specific corporate or b2b storefront front store display assigned products will be displayed only in the selected b2b store for customers limitations currently, there is no option to set separate markup specifically for b2b stores products assigned to b2b stores will not be visible in the b2b admin panel this tab provides targeted product control for corporate or business specific storefronts while maintaining separation from the general product catalog 10\ manage personalization tab the manage personalization tab allows admins to create and manage personalization settings for promo products, particularly for suppliers who do not provide personalization by default this tab enables admins to configure master locations , assign decoration areas, and define pricing for personalization options, ensuring that customers can customize products directly on the front store master location management admins can create master locations specifying where a product can be personalized each master location includes location id – unique identifier for the personalization area location name – descriptive name for easy identification supplier selection – associate the location with a specific supplier status – enable or disable the master location master locations can be saved for reuse across multiple products or categories configuration personalization this section allows admins to define detailed personalization options for customers supplier and category selection choose the supplier (company) and product category for which personalization applies decoration options predefined methods such as color print, silkscreen, digital transfer, and embroidery decoration area geometry shape options like rectangle or circle unit of measure specify whether the measurement is in stitches or colors area dimensions set width, height , and overall size of the personalized area location selection assign a master location or create a new one during configuration charge details for personalization admins can define charges associated with personalization charge id – unique identifier for the charge charge name – descriptive name for easy reference charge type – define whether it is a setup charge or a run charge charge description – additional details about the charge price uom – measurement unit for pricing (e g , stitches or colors) price – amount to be applied for the personalization, which will be displayed on the front store admins can add multiple charge details for example, for run and setup using the add more button product view at the storefront customers will see a “decorated” option, decoration method option & decoration location on the product page for items with personalization enabled the product decoration configuration allows customers to upload artwork for the specified location admin defined personalization rules, locations, and pricing are applied automatically to ensure accurate display and charges 11\ inventory management on storefront onprintshop does not maintain inventory information for promo products in the admin panel instead, inventory is managed and displayed directly on the front store for customers a “check inventory” button is available on the product page when clicked, the system retrieves live inventory data from the supplier in real time customers can view available stock levels before placing an order this approach ensures accurate, up to date inventory information without requiring manual tracking in the admin panel
