Country/States

This section enlists all the countries available to you to make active on your storefront and provides quick links to manage them. Actions you perform here will have implications on the shipping and tax calculation on your storefront.

Your admin panel comes with pre-configured countries of the world. You can view which country is set as default.

It allows you to assign your home country as default. First change the status to Active and then make it as Default. This country name will automatically move up as first on the list.

In the country list, you will find most of the countries are covered. If there is any country where you want to provide your services and it is not listed in the panel, you can add it by specifying its name, ISO code2, ISO code3 and ISD code.

This enlists all the states added in your Admin Panel. Your admin panel comes pre-configured with states for the United States and Canada:

However, you can add a state of any country using the +Add button provided at the top right corner. To add a state, select the country, enter state name, code and save the state.

When you are serving some selective countries, we recommend you click this button to make all the countries inactive on your storefront and then activate only desired countries from the list manually.

On the storefront, at the time of checkout, the countries marked as Active will display in a drop-down menu under Billing & Shipping Information.

Add State: This will take you to the Add State page where you can add the state for the selected country.

State List: This will redirect to the State List where you can view the states added for the selected country. The country filter and search field allows you to quickly get to what you are looking for.
