purpose every product uploaded is intended to have a different size or a standard size of printing for example, a business card can have sizes such as 3 5x2, 4x3, etc or, a product like a mug can have only one 'standard size' the sizes will depend on your product offerings this tab allows you to add sizes (design sizes), margins and pages of the selected product configuration size size title click on the add button and enter various size names that will be visible to the customer your customers will see this name when they choose the size of the product bleed size enter the canvas size, i e , the printing area of the product this size is reflected in the designer studio fold options the folding configuration allows you to define how and where a product will be folded by specifying the fold type, number of folds, and their positions this helps ensure that fold lines are accurately applied and displayed across the design and preview stages to configure folds, click on the fold options link start by selecting the fold type when fixed is selected, fold lines are automatically distributed evenly based on the number of folds you enter this option is ideal for standard folding requirements where equal spacing between folds is sufficient if your product requires precise fold placement, select the custom fold type in this mode, you can manually enter numeric values to define fold positions at exact measurement points the values are based on the product’s unit of measurement, such as inches or millimeters, allowing greater control over fold placement fold direction, such as vertical or horizontal, is handled automatically within the fold configuration, ensuring consistent behavior across different product designs without additional setup after completing the configuration, the designer studio renders the fold lines dynamically in real time based on the defined settings the same fold configuration is also reflected in the 3d preview , providing accurate and consistent visualization throughout the design and preview process setup cost you can define a set up cost product size wise if the size wise setup cost is added, then the product price calculation will be as follows – total product base price = product base price + product set up cost + size based setup cost if you have configured both the setup costs – ‘product setup cost’ & ‘size based setup cost’, then the system shall consider both setups cost in the ‘total product base price’ calculation note – the "size based setup cost" feature is not available for the ‘dynamic size’ pricing method images if required, then upload images to support each size of the product this will help your customer get a better understanding of the size dimensions product margin enter the safe margin and cut margin as a guideline for the customer to design within the safe area of the template all margins i e top, right, bottom, and left are used to set the safe margin and cut (trim) margin in the designer studio green line = safe margin red line = cut (trim) margin margins are included in product bleed size (width & height), so enter bleed size accordingly product pages define the product pages for your product i e the printing sides for example, standard business cards have 2 pages namely front and back for printing, whereas a calendar will have 12 (back and front for each month) or more printing pages page name enter a page name for your product these pages are available in the designer studio such that a customer can create its design accordingly also, while uploading a design a customer will get an option to upload a design for all the pages page wise size configuration using the page wise size button, the admin can set the size of the printing area for different pages for the standard products click on the " pagewise size " button to set the printing area on different pages note while configuring page wise sizes, ensure that the bleed size of the main product matches the bleed values entered for the first page this consistency is required for the page wise size settings to work correctly across all product pages when the customer selects the product and goes to the designer studio for customization, they will have different sizes available for placing the printing elements on defined pages
