Image Alt Text

Image Alt Text or “alt attributes”, “alt descriptions” of the image, or alt tags are used in the HTML code to describe the image on the page. They appear on the screen in place of an image on the web page when if the image fails to load.

Adding alt text to images was considered one of the best SEO practices in 2019. Its original purpose was to describe the image for visually impaired visitors but the trend has taken a new turn and offers both explicit and implicit benefits. Using image alt tags may contribute to image SEO and rankings.

To add alt texts to images, navigate to Admin >> SEO >> Image Alt Text. On the dashboard, you’ll find a list of pages such as a Product Page, Category Page, and Banner.

You can easily add alt texts to these images. You’ll possibly find a list of all the images present on your website under this listing.
