Languages
Customers all over the world enjoy viewing the website content and shopping in their native language. It has now become beneficial for companies to operate their website in multiple languages. This will help you handle your international customers in a better way. This section helps you manage the languages of your website.
OnPrintShop is multi-lingual, and you can easily enable multiple languages for your website. When a customer will land on your URL, your store will automatically show their native language (if enabled).
The Languages tab from Site Settings enlists all the languages enabled on your website.
Note: The default language that we provide is English. To enable more languages, you need to connect with the technical or support team. There is no provision to add language from the Admin Panel.
The languages listed here will be available for your customers on the storefront. You can anytime change the status of the languages as per the needs.
Note: Once the language is enabled for the front store, it will automatically be available for the Admin.
Under the Actions column, you can edit the following settings:
Select Currency
With this option, the admin can associate a currency with the selected language. This will be only considered when the "Enable Currency Auto Detect?" settings in the Site Settings is set to "Yes".
Admin Only
When you need to enable the language from the backend, configure the language-related changes such as product descriptions, CMS text, email templates, etc., you can use the "Admin Only" feature. Enabling this will disable the language at the front end and when you want to make the language available for the customers, just disable this setting.
Locale Date Format
With this facility, the admin can choose to display language-wise date format. When this is enabled, the month in the date format will be displayed as per the language selected.
Default
You can set the selected languages as the "Default" for the front store.
Note: Admin cannot change the status of a language that has been set to Default.
