overview the store addresses module allows administrators to create and manage billing and shipping addresses for a store these addresses can be assigned as default addresses during checkout and can also be configured for specific departments, providing greater flexibility for b2b purchasing workflows purpose the store addresses tab helps administrators create and manage store level billing and shipping addresses assign department specific addresses for different business units configure default billing and shipping addresses for the store import multiple store addresses using an excel file synchronize address information with template personalization fields note store addresses are required when the fixed shipping/billing address setting is enabled for the store customers will not be able to complete the checkout process unless the required store addresses are configured manage address administrators can manage store addresses by adding individual addresses, importing multiple addresses, and configuring the default billing and shipping addresses for the store add new address to add a new store address, navigate to the store management >> stores >> select store >> action menu >> manage address fill the details in the add address section and click on save to instantly create a address below are details of important fields office name this name will help store admin to uniquely identify every address with an office name this name will be used in the shipping type dropdown in the front store available to select whether the address is available to entire store/all departments or a specific department this helps organizations maintain separate addresses for different business units within the same store address type e commerce requires one billing address and one shipping address to fulfill any order thus, for store there is an open room for store admin to create as many required shipping and billing addresses in the address type dropdown, we have given 3 options billing address used for billing purposes shipping address used for product deliveries both uses the same address for both billing and shipping sync with template personalization enable this option to synchronize the address fields with template personalization data, allowing address information to be used automatically in personalized templates where applicable once the address is added, it will appear in the manage address main screen import addresses use the import address option to upload multiple store addresses simultaneously using an excel file using the 3 step import function you can easily import addresses into the system set default address after creating multiple store addresses, administrators can configure the default billing and shipping addresses for the store click the edit icon in the default address column and select the preferred billing address and shipping address the selected addresses are automatically used during checkout whenever the store is configured to use fixed billing and shipping addresses
