overview the product page layout feature allows you to customize how individual products or product groups are displayed to your customers onprintshop provides a set of pre built, professionally designed layouts optimized for both web and mobile views these layouts are accessible through the product type settings and can be previewed before assigning them while the predefined templates cannot be modified, they offer a quick and effective way to match the layout with the product’s purpose and customer expectations purpose this feature is designed to give you greater flexibility and control over the visual presentation of your products by assigning specific layouts based on product type, you can ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience across your store each layout is clearly named for easy identification and supports both web and mobile formats, helping you maintain a responsive and user friendly interface without additional development effort note any changes made in this section will be directly reflected on the product pages of your website configuration this guide will help you create, assign, and manage custom and pre built product page layouts for web and mobile views in onprintshop adding a layout you can customize the product page layout based on different product types, including predefined, photobook, book products, and calendar products these layout options allow you to tailor the user experience for each product type, provided they are enabled in your admin panel to add a new layout, navigate to the admin panel > store personalization > product page layout > add button (top right link) these configurations determine how the layout will appear and function on the storefront for selected products store start by selecting the store for which you want to create the layout this allows you to configure different layouts for different storefronts if multiple stores are available in the system name enter a suitable name for the layout so it can be easily identified later for example, you can name the layout “standard mobile view” or “calendar product layout” based on its purpose product type select the required product type for which the layout should be created the available options will depend on your system configuration for example, if you want to create a layout specifically for calendar products, you can select “calendar product” layout type choose the layout type depending on whether the layout should be used for web or mobile view for instance, selecting “mobile” allows you to create a mobile optimized product page layout for a better user experience on smaller devices sidebar display configure the sidebar display option based on your layout requirement you can choose to display the sidebar using the “default” option or hide it using “no sidebar” for example, hiding the sidebar on mobile layouts can provide a cleaner and more user friendly interface select product select the specific product or products to which this layout should be applied the product list displayed here is based on the selected product type for example, you may apply a custom layout only to the “2025 wall calendar” product select block use the select block option to add different sections or content blocks to the layout you can choose blocks from the dropdown list and include them in the product page layout for example, you can add blocks like “product description”, “customer reviews”, or “related products” arrange blocks once the blocks are added, arrange them according to your preferred layout structure the system allows you to drag and drop blocks to change their position you can also resize them by dragging the corner of the block for example, you may place “price details” above “product options” or increase the size of the image gallery section action buttons finally, configure the action buttons settings to control the layout, style, and behavior of buttons displayed on the page you can define alignment preferences, choose between icon based or button based actions, and decide whether actions should open in popups or display inline for example, you may configure horizontal icon buttons that appear directly within the product page for quicker access note if you have created a layout for the web, it will not be automatically applied; you will have to create a specific layout for mobile devices also managing page layouts from the main screen, admins can manage page layouts using the action menu, which provides options to edit, duplicate , or delete custom layouts as needed edit modify block arrangements in custom created layouts only; sidebar and product assignment can be adjusted for pre defined ones duplicate create an editable copy of a pre built layout to customize as per your needs delete remove unused custom layouts via a 2 step confirmation; system layouts can't be deleted note duplicate action will not reflect any changes in the default layouts
