overview the additional option price bulk update feature enables administrators to update the pricing of additional product options in bulk instead of modifying option prices individually for each product, administrators can apply a fixed amount or percentage based increase or decrease across multiple products and their associated additional options simultaneously this feature helps streamline pricing management, especially when pricing adjustments need to be applied to a large number of products or option configurations purpose the purpose of this feature is to simplify the management of additional option pricing by allowing administrators to update prices for multiple additional options in a single operation apply fixed value or percentage based price adjustments maintain consistent pricing across products and option configurations reduce the time and effort required for manual price updates add additional option pricing in bulk the functionality works similarly to the product price bulk update feature, with the primary difference being that it specifically targets additional option prices across selected products step 1 select the available options this step will help you create a filter to update the product price price category for all users select the price category to list the products choose from fix quantity range based quantity custom size apply price on quantity depending on the product category filter select the price or the pricing range of products for which you want to update the prices enter the price for bulk price update here enter the price that you want to increase, decrease or enter a percentage increase or decrease in the price of the products adding percentage or price is mandatory fixed ($) increase fixed ($) decrease percentage (%) increase percentage (%) decrease select product next, choose the products that will be listed according to the price category and price quantity the changes in price effect will be on the selected products’ additional options only step 2 review updated prices you will get a list of current and new prices based on the filter created in step – 1 according to the filter created the system lists down all the products’ additional options with their old prices and new prices the new prices are defined based on the ‘bulk price update’ value entered if you do not want to update the new price of a specific product then simply delete it by clicking on the delete icon while on this screen, you can still change the filter from the ‘filter’ section step 3 apply new prices after reviewing and validating the updated pricing information, click apply new price the system updates all additional option prices displayed in the review list based on the configured pricing adjustment important once the price update is applied, the action cannot be reverted ensure that all pricing changes are reviewed carefully before proceeding
