introducing adaptive size product templates we have introduced adaptive size templates to enhance design flexibility and simplify template management the adaptive size templates feature allows admins to create a single template that can be used across multiple product sizes this eliminates the need to duplicate the same design for each size and makes template management more efficient template creation when adding a new template from the admin panel > templates > product templates > add , you will see a field named template option after selecting the store and product type specific product – works as before, where the template is created for the selected single product adaptive size – allows you to create a free size template without linking it to any product initially if you select adaptive size , you can choose from predefined ratios such as square, landscape, or portrait , or enter custom width and height values, define the number of pages, enter the template name, and assign a group name for easier organization after saving, you can proceed to the designer studio and create the design the template will remain independent until you assign it to products template assignment to assign an adaptive template, go to the template listing screen, click on the action menu of the template, and select assign to products on the new assign to products screen, you can assign templates to a product category or to individual products for the selected category or product, you can review available product sizes with system color codes you may select sizes manually or use the quick filter to assign in bulk (e g , all sizes, only perfect matches, or partial matches) once you have selected the sizes, you can save this as a selection, making it easier to reuse the same selection later via the saved selection dropdown for bulk management, the template assignment button is available on the product templates listing page this lets you filter by category, select specific products, apply saved selections, and review size matches before assigning when customers open a template in the designer studio , the template automatically adjusts to the product size chosen in the price calculator (or defaults to the product size if none is selected) the orientation is preserved, and customers can personalize the template with images, clipart, and backgrounds explore products with the same design the explore products with same design feature allows customers to use one design across multiple products, making the design process faster and more convenient it also helps admins promote cross selling by showing related products that carry the same design when a customer visits a product page, they will see a new block called “explore products with same design ” in this block, the related products are displayed with their 2d models in the default size the customer’s current design is automatically applied as a live preview on all these products any changes they make to the design are updated instantly across the previews if the customer wants to apply the same design to another product, they can simply click on it, and the system will load that product with the design, resizing it if needed this way, customers only need to design once and can quickly apply it to multiple products feature configuration to configure this feature, admins need to first go to product showcase settings and change the display criteria from none to one of the available options next, they should open the related products option in the print product or ready to buy product listing page here, they will find the explore products with same design setting along with related product options admins can choose from three configurations none to skip the feature for the selected product, specific products to manually assign products that share the same design, or refer from setting to inherit the configuration from product showcase settings after making the selection, the configuration must be saved it is important to note that this feature only works with the quick design flow admins must ensure this option is enabled for the main product in product settings before saving changes once everything is set up, the explore products with same design block will automatically appear on the storefront, allowing customers to view and purchase other products with the same design minor enhancements enhanced product preview experience the die cut, document print, and pattern product preview are now more interactive and user friendly admins can set default events to ensure consistent uploads and a smoother design flow users can apply effects, adjust settings, and see real time changes for a better design viewing experience manage non printable elements in final files a new setting, include non printable elements in print ready file, in the studio settings, allows admins to choose whether non printable elements should appear in the final print ready file this provides greater control over the output file’s content, helping ensure cleaner prints while retaining design references in the background when needed new image straightening option in designer studio to help customers align tilted or rotated images during customization, we are introducing the enable image straightening setting in the studio settings section when active, customers will see a slider option below the selected image, allowing them to straighten it between 0°–360° the adjusted image is automatically fitted within the display box, ensuring a clean and professional look without blank spaces view 3d models in the upload center and browse design customers can now see 3d models as part of their design journey this enhancement improves confidence in design choices and helps customers better visualize the final product in the upload center , 3d previews appear in the proofing flow, allowing users to review their artwork on the product in a realistic view before finalizing this will be applicable when the upload center proof setting in the respective product setting is set to designer studio on the browse design page, 3d models are displayed option wise and attribute wise, giving a clear, interactive preview of how different selections will look see transparent elements clearly in pdf previews customers often face issues when their uploaded designs contain transparency, as the previews do not clearly reflect how the final artwork would look this sometimes caused confusion or misalignment in expectations to address this, a new enable transparent background setting in designer studio ensures that uploaded pdfs with transparency are shown accurately in previews non transparent files remain unchanged, and if multiple file types are uploaded, transparency applies only to pdf pages this update also works on the upload center page, helping customers review their designs with confidence
